Bertus Enslin
Bertus commenced his career in life and group insurance at Old Mutual, where he headed up the Client Services North Administration division.
After a stint playing professional rugby and rugby league abroad, Bertus returned to South Africa in 1994 and worked for the likes of Charter Life, Fedsure, Metropolitan Investments, Ovation Global Investments and Gryphon Asset Management. During his stint at Metropolitan he was also responsible for establishing marketing infrastructure for Metropolitan Unit Trusts.
He also set up the IBC/Metropolitan LISP relationship, subsequently named Ovation Global Investments where he served a director.
At Gryphon he served in a Business Development & Sales Management capacity and was also responsible for growing and building the brand presence in the market. He was instrumental in the marketing of the Absa Dividend Income Fund, a fixed income fund which at its zenith exceeded ZAR13.5 billion in assets under management and where Gryphon was the Fund Manager.
His passion is client interaction, business development and brand management.
